I understand that the shunt used to measure current to the motor is just that, and the V takeoff for the osd/tx/camera is separate, so there is no measurement of the load on the battery from the flight video hardware.
Can you explaiin the reasoning behind this design decision?
I for one would like to know the total mAh draw on my flight battery, not just the motor consumption.
Cheers
Frank

If I understand right, sensor takes power for osd before shunt (from INPUT), so logically we can resolder one wire and take + for OSD from OUTPUT and have total current readings.
Alex, could you please correct me if I'm wrong?

because current sensor used needs to be zeroed, the measured current will be everything that goes more than the current measured at the zeroing point(first 30 seconds after power up)
