Can use two FMA Z sensors instead of single X-Y Sensor?

The FMA site says:

The vertical sensor is essentially one axis of the pitch/roll sensor. For this reason, the normal pitch/roll sensor can also be connected on the "z" sensor input and it will serve the same function. The "z" sensor is a smaller package and hence, more suitable for this installation. Conversely, individual "z" sensors (2 units) can be used in place of a single pitch/roll sensor.

So, if I order three FMS Z sensors, modify one of them with 1k resistor for increased accuracy, use the other two as they are and prepare appropriate cabling, should it work exactly the same with RVOSD as the recommended X-Y Sensor + Z Sensor pair?

not recommended, you will need to wire two sockets in to one, plus not so easy to keep the XY 90° configuration, pre order at FMA and wait till 15 may :D

No way! I can't possibly wait that long :D
I think I'll give it a shot despite "not recommended" - I should be able to manage wiring and 90*.

In the worst case I'll end up with two spare Z-sensors :)
