View Full Version : Aux channel won't change screens

I'm using a 6 channel 72MHz RC receiver. Four of the six channels are being used to control the servos and motor. Anyways, I have 2 aux channels open for use with the OSD. One of the two aux channels allows me to cycle between screens, but this is at the expense of all the servos glitching uncontrollably. As for the other aux channel, it does not allow me to cycle through screens on the OSD, but it does allow me to control the aircraft (I'm currently flying with this aux channel connected to the OSD). I was wondering if this is actually a setting I can change on the RC transmitter (allowing me to dedicate the 3 position switch to the aux channel) or if there is another solution I don't know about. I should also mention that when I'm flying, I can turn off the RC transmitter and the OSD takes over in autopilot mode (using the current aux channel of the RC receiver). If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it. Also, since I'm still new at this, I was wondering if anyone could help me set up the autopilot (the directions for the autopilot are a bit difficult to understand).

ok. I got the other aux channel to work. I can change between screens usning the aux switch and shift up and down on the main menu using the elevator on the RC transmitter, but I can't change the settings (like the volume on RVOSD remote). If anyone has any advice, please let me know. Thanks.

Change the settings should be done with the rudder channel, it is conected to RVOSD and working the pass thru?

Thanks, I just got it working. I only had the ailerons connected to the RVOSD, oops. It can get confusing with all the wires some times. I was wondering though, will it affect the aircraft in any way if I have everything (ailerons and rudder) connected to the OSD?

If you have averything conected then you can use the Fail Safe or RTH capabilities of the OSD. Read carefully to configure all properly though.
