1760mah ....
Actually you will find that the actual battery consumption, ie what you need to put back into the lipo, will be greater than what is indicated on the mAh consumed display. This is due to losses in the battery and cables before the current sensor. Ever noticed the battery get warm? This energy is wasted, and isnt measured by the shunt. Best to fly until your battery voltage drops to its minimum safe level, then when you land, take note of how much charge it takes to fully recharge the pak. Then allow a bit for safety and set to this. Remember also that lipos lose capacity with age.
My current setup has 10,000mah 3s, no video battery, and I have set the capacity to 7000mah, as thats how much it takes to recharge from almost flat.
Just want to confirm RVOSD should set throttle to Cruise or Glide settings (depending on altitude) when radio link is lost and Enable Autopilot is set to RTH, .
Correct?
Correct!
Hey guys I hope someone here can help me out I have a few questions. I have read this whole thread and Im still confused
Ok so first of all my set up is er9x on dragonlink in a Z2 so...
I have managed to set RTH failsafe and also RTH on a switch and the 3 position switch im using to switch between screens, in the menu screen my up/down and left/right are backwards (elevator is left right aileron is up down) is there any way to switch this around?
Also it says "on a change from more then to less then 1.35 ms it toggles auto pilot" can this be set up as FBW mode? , so one switch to RTH one to toggle menu and one to FBW (or whatever mode AP is in)
And lastly how do i know where 1.35 ms is?? I think i got the other part "change from less to more than 1.85mS" by accident
Thanx guys sorry for the dumb questions
Adam
I do not understand if your roll is reversed (right is left and left is right) or if you have aileron and elevator interchanged... (your right is elevon up..?)
If first: Try to run the Wizard....
If second: review where you have connected the pins...
Regarding "1,35"... You can see all values of the channel in the "debug screen" that should appear rolling the toggle between screens. Of course you can set the autopilot to FBW mode. Just go to the menú and choose that option in the autopilot menu. But let me remember to you that you have to choose only one autopilot mode: Just have a look to the manual to clear most of your doubts...
"Autopilot mode:
Select the autopilot mode to be activated when stabilization mode is activated by the auxiliary channel.
· RTH
· Level flight
· Heading hold
· Position hold
· Fly by wire
· Waypoint sequencer"
Debug screen... ahh ok that helps.
Done the wizard everything is fine as far as i can tell elevator moves elevons up and aileron right does right aileron up.
As for the rest of your post i think you misunderstood me, In the menu while using the sticks the elevator and aileron are controlling the wrong part of the movement... ie the elevator should make it go up and down... and it makes it go left right (so just to be clear aileron moves my selection in the menu)
Ive read the manual many times so much so i cant see the forest through the trees... thats why im asking for help.
And are you sure i can only use one AP at a time? If i set one switch on my TX to trigger failsafe that should trigger RTH right? And another switch can trigger FBW for example... is that right?
Im hoping to maiden this weekend so trying to clear everything up in my head...
thanx
Adam
