Hi,
Setting up yet another RVOSD
Small issue with Baro not resetting when Home set on this one, shows 36m when RVOSD is booted and stays at that figure after home set. It does work in flight, just not zeroed to ground (GPS height resets to 0 once home is set) Is there anyway way to overcome this? I have tried GPS alone, Baro alone and Both, same result for baro. I have same hardware/FW sitting next to this one working correctly.
New install of 5.1 hardware with 5.06/5.09
Cheers,
Al
Hi Al,
Do you reset again after the temperature has stabilized? I assume it does it on the bench as well? (out of the plane) Tried swapping the ASI sensor to the other OSD?
Alex, I know this is an old thread but I'd like to know if the barometric sensor above (green, labelled U11) is the same on the 5.1 gen RVOSDs (can't tell from the picture if the OSD shown is a 5.1), and if so where I can get one.
I am reluctant to sending mine back for repair as I know it will be on a journey for at least 2 months traveling to the U. S., being repaired and traveling back to the continent.
Also I'd need to know if the barometric sensor in any way works together with the AHI. I was flying yesterday and although the AHI was perfectly leveled while i was at home it went crazy on the flying field where it was gusty.
Or could this be due to the update to FW 5.10 (switching flight modes via knob/poti) I made?
My ROVSD is a 5.1 gen, with video FW 5.06 and mainboard FW 5.10 (experimental).
Thanks!
Check this thread: http://rangevideo.com/forum/showthre...enter-s-corner
It shows how to connect a BMP085 baro.
Alex, thank very much you for the pointer! Would you say that installing the sensor as described in the following post is the way to go? http://rangevideo.com/forum/showthre...0406#post20406
Would you mind taking a look at my post regarding update to 5.10 FW and AHI problems, located here: http://rangevideo.com/forum/showthre...9636#post29636
Apologies if you already saw that post but didn't have the time to answer yet.
Thanks again!
