RVOSD gen2 board burned?
Not sure what happend but while flying about 10 flights on my setup I GPS connection and then my reciver lost power and crashed. Unplugging the plane on the ground and replugging everything seemed to work fine again and now today after another trial I plugged her in and all I see on the screen is
RVOSD
"Version 2.01 Sensor 0.00"
And it stays there. So I freaked out unplugged plane and smelled a burning smell from inside my plane.
I have not changed anything in my plane from those last 10 long flights..
I decied to take her apart and have a look see on the board. This is what I found:

What could have happened? The camera works, the receiver works fine, transmiter and esc all seem to work fine (tested sperate from RVOSD). All wires seem normal and not a short somewhere, my soldering is perfect no problems there.
So what can I do to fix this? Will it cost me? How much will it cost me? HELP it worked soo well... And the weather is finally getting nice..

Did you tried to solder a wire to fix that burned trace?
If this fix the problem, send a picture of the current sensor before flying again.

No did not work still the same result onscreen... Can you PM me the cost of the lower board? if you could help me out with price that would be great as I just got this a few weeks ago. I am getting a new ESC and motor and servo wires today anyways hopefully the problem was with them.

Picture of the current sensor please

I had the leads taped also with eletric tape... The top red wire is hidden in the picture it is behind the sensor.

Why you didnt used the Deans?
Also you should cover the sensor with heat shrink, or some kind of isolation. This current sensor hanging around is a short waiting to happen.
That burned trace was due to an excess of current flow, and this had to be because a short. IF you only see "RVOSD" "Version 2.01 Sensor 0.00" on the screen, this means the main board processor its not working, but the voltage regulators on board are working, also the video board.
Post a detailed pic of both sides of the main board, maybe I can see the problem this way.

Local Hobby shop ran out of deans..
And it was nice out...
I had the wires taped very well...Took tape off for picture. Not sure how the short at supply would effect the board.. But your the expert..

Ok, I cant find anything wrong visually but components can be dead without any external sign of damage. I suggest you to restore that burned trace, if this does not help then you need to contact Vova. He runs RangeVideo, I am just the designer and programmer of RVOSD.
