    Question Rvosd with ubec

Hi, can someone please explain how i would go about hooking up an ubec.
Right now i have the ubec connected to my rx and the other end is connected to a Y-lead which goes to 3s battery and the aux channel on rvosd.
And the esc cable with the +red unconnected goes to throttle output on rvosd.

But this cant be right, cus the motor just beeps. I have turned Rx on in the osd menu.

hm.. maybe i should connect the +red wire too, from the esc wire that goes into throttle output? im alittle confused...

You can get rid of the y cable. If the ubec is plugged in the rx or the osd you have power for the rc stuff. Once you have it hooked up, go in your menu and make sure you have you rc control turned on or yes on the 4th page of the menue from the TV remote thing.

here's the setup, kinda messy, but only testing it before setting everything up properly:

So you're powering the motor off of one battery, and the servos / camera / etc. off of a second battery? From what I can tell it should work. You probably just need to change the menu option for rc control to be on (as man2000me suggested).

yes, i have a 4s battery for motor and a 3s for the rest. i have the rc control set to yes on the menu. if i go to the menu and switch it to no and back to yes, the motor starts to spin, cant move the servos and stop the motor.. dunno what's wrong

hm.. works now, i took all the wiring off, and put it back on again.. the only thing i did different this time, was to use another channel on the rx for aux input from osd.

You don't actually need the Y... Try it. If you are powering the osd 5v rail with the ubec and you have a servo wire going to the rx, you are powering the rx...

as you can see in the pic i posted, the ubec goes to the rx. if i remove the Y, i cant connect it to the aux input of the osd. i dont think we're on the same page?
    or im misunderstanding you
