You will need to solder 3 wires to the OSD board and buy our pitot tube & sensor. Cost around 30 USD.

Alex Hi, I went trough http://rangevideo.com/forum/showthre...light=airspeed but it's still not clear to me real applications/potential/your future plans of the airspeed sensor:

One of the good question from this forum left unanswered: Are you planning on enabling speed compensation based on airspeed sensor? I know it is a lot of work and creates tons of new problems but I just want to know whether you plan on adding it or not.

Are you plan to integrate true airspeed into A/P mode enable OSD to cotrol the throtlle?

So, at the moment, airspeed sensor can be used as the prime source of speed indicator on RVOSD HUD, correct? I would love to have it - I just crashed my TwinStar a week ago going to the final approach with the back wind, GPS speed was OK, but airplan stalled down to the ground because of the low true airspeed. Also, there should be an option to set the low (true airspeed) speed and visible warning should popup in the case of flying to slow.

Is this the right airspeed Kit to buy: https://store.diydrones.com/Kit_MPXV...7002dp-01.htm?

We preordered V5.1 board. Does this airspeed sensor works also with V3 upgraded to V5 board?

Any progress on this? I just ordered the RSOD, and was hoping for the pitot tube option but couldn't find where to buy.

    Thanks
