    Alex

Thank you for fixing my board and a special thank you for updating my firmware - I won't tell anyone what version it is.

    Best regards

Alex - any news about 5.07 release date ?
Will I have to upgrade to hardware board 5.1 to enjoy the immidiate (no sync problem) video switching ?

Check post #80, it is a pre-release. Many people have flashed it and I have no negative reports, so I think there is no problems with it.

Im not too worried about camera stabilization just yet. Would it be possible to use the camera pan stabilization feature connected to the rudder servo only, to keep the rudder stabilized? I don't connect my rudder channel directly and usually have it hooked in to an aileron via y-lead. I was hoping to have some automatic yaw stability.

I don't think that could work. Camera stabilization works like the antenna tracker does. The servo movements are related to the plane attitude by knowing the exact mS/degrees ratio and move the servo based on that. For airplane steering there is a need for some kind of external gain.
You will have to wait till I have time to work on the firmware again and finish the yaw stabilization control. At this moment I am busy working on a new ship to add to my fleet. A Queen Bee on steroids.

Ah yes! Aussie Pete was telling me you are interested in his QB project. We fly together occasionally. Great choice of platform. I have an X8 on the drawing board ATM.

So, hate to do this, but any word on when 5.07 is out officially?
